Hot Chocolate with a Secret Ingredient

hot coconut chocolate

I could find tons of ways to keep myself in a good mood during these winter days, including painting my nails pink&orange, now let's see if we can stop spending money at Starbucks at the same time and make ourselves the Best Hot Chocolate with a special flavor: coconut.

Ingredients for 2 cups of Hot Chocolate:

400 ml regular milk/13.5 fl.oz
1 small can of coconut milk( 165 ml)/5.57 fl oz
40 grams/1.41 ounces of regular chocolate. You could choose dark chocolate for a more intense flavor
3 tablespoons of sugar (optional), in case you are using very dark chocolate.

Calories per serving: 210, using 0.5% fat milk, 72% dark chocolate and no sugar

Place coconut milk and regular milk in sauce pan on medium high heat for 5 minutes or until steaming. Add the chocolate in small pieces to make it easier to melt. Stir until all the chocolate melts.

P.S. More wonderful recipes, including Apple Crumble and Caramelized Fruit Tart.

About me

About me

Welcome on my blog!

I am Luiza, a student in her twenties living in Aarhus (Denmark). Besides blogging, I love to travel, shop, laugh and watch TV series.

Founded in 2012, Ladylike is a blog that covers lifestyle, fashion, travel, healthy eating and relationships. The idea for this blog came when I realized I would love to have my own personal space where I could share my thoughts and experiences with other enthusiastic girls who are preocuppied by their looks and health. The blog is called Ladylike because I love being feminine. What can I say more?

Thank God I am a woman!
